Well i went with a certain idea in my head of using seringes and making something a bit gritty, we went to an abandoned warehouse which was great and inspired my mind into actually doing something, good find whoever found this one. Below is the first in a series of 3. I have only seen this one so far, an it has captured what i was trying to go for.  I am enjoying the ability to paint light with flashes and create hard and soft light.

After this we went to a dock which was a lovely walk and a nice place but i feel as though my inspiration had been zapped, so i took no photos.

Tonight we went to another abandoned building and i was truly uninspired, the build was so crapped out that it really was not safe due to the asbestos. So i took the following shot of a church over the road. Nice and stereotypical.

PS. parking the cars outside of the police training camp was a nice touch.

Well we went for high speed and as you can see from the only pictures here it was not a great adventure into high speed.

Well after a disasterous start to the evening where we ended up standing on a street corner wondering where to go, and looking at another no location no idea night we decided to go to a skate park man. Oh by the way thanks Jon for the curry, my wife decided to spend the money in the account. Anyway we went to the skate park to experiment further on last week. this time i ahd a bit more of an idea and used multiple flashes and a snowboard.

I would like to say here “I WANT POCKET WIZARDS” if anybody wants to buy me a Christmas present there’s a suggestion for you.

I thought it time to have a bit of fun with some flashes, i find the idea of painting the light interesting. For these shots i was trying to highlight certain areas of action and not go with a “safe” blanket light. I was going for a gritty feel that makes you wonder whats going on. I also like the black and white, feels moodier. I would hae liked to pick up on the blue in the jeans more, however snooting flashes and jumping dont go together very well, you are never is the same place twice.

Well the first of an annual event. A great time was had by all, apart from the ups and downs, which were many, especially as we started at a really low point and finished a really high point, i now realise why most people do the walk the other way round.
